We love cosmetic pens – and have done so for over 30 years! GOKOS has its roots in the renowned Gutberlet company, which began manufacturing pens back in 1960 and has been developing quality color cosmetics since 1987.
The launch of the then revolutionary Felt-tip Eyeliner became a worldwide success and over the years the Gutberlet family manufactory produced cosmetics for prominent labels such as Lancôme, Guerlain, Babor, ARTDECO and many more.
Today the 35-year-old granddaughter of Gutberlet’s founder, Christiane De La Rosa, is writing a new chapter of company history. In 2020, she founded GOKOS, Gutberlet's first own cosmetics line. With her "Beauty to Go" concept, Christiane draws on her innate passion for pens and anchors proven quality and long-standing expertise in the absolute now.
The GOKOS collection combines tradition with innovation and urban lifestyle. Christiane: "The pen designs are based on my grandfather's original ideas. He invented the ingenious refill system in the 90s and had his patent on it for a long time. I want to preserve that and develop it further."
Unlike the generations before her, Christiane has the chance to create her cosmetic pens directly for individual buyers. "That’s super exciting to me. I never had this kind of exchange within the beauty industry before I started GOKOS." When designing her collection, Christiane always keeps the busy daily lives and lifestyles of her customers in mind. Each product is high quality and the to-go concept is well thought out.
