A repeat insult patch test can help determine any potential irritation or sensitization issues, minimizing the potential reactions for the consumer. This is a tool for safety evaluation. Sunscreen should be applied at least after every 2 hours of sun exposure if you're staying dry. If you're swimming, or even sweating, you should apply again after the water-resistant time, which is 40 minutes to 80 minutes, depending on the product. Finally, don't forget to reapply after towel drying to ensure thorough sun protection!
