This commitment to being Always Organic still allows room for other sustainably made, lab-derived ingredients at clinically effective levels while adhering to our clean no-lists and organic guidelines.

Studies show that most people only apply 25-50% of the recommended amount of sunscreen. We want to make sure your skin is well-protected—when applying this product to your face, use about the size of a nickel, which is around 1/3 of a teaspoon.

Coola fragrances are naturally derived, with all constituents extracted from plant sources. Coola does not use any synthetic fragrances in any of their products. Unlike common industry practice, Coola is one of the few companies that choose to disclose the ingredients and constituents in all of their fragrances, so you can rest assured that you know what is in their formulas. Every Coola formula is tested for HRIPT (Human Repeated Insult Patch Testing). A repeat insult patch test can help determine any potential irritation or sensitization issues, minimizing the potential reactions for the consumer. This is a tool for safety evaluation. In addition, all Coola products are Soy-Free, Nut-Free, and Gluten-Free.

Sunscreen should be applied at least after every 2 hours of sun exposure if you're staying dry. If you're swimming, or even sweating, you should apply again after the water-resistant time, which is 40 minutes to 80 minutes, depending on the product. Finally, don't forget to reapply after towel drying to ensure thorough sun protection!
